CitySaver Central is the training, library and vision hub for CitySaver — a home for founder notes, launch resources, community ideas, CitySavior writings, success stories and practical guidance for helping real cities come alive.
What CitySaver Central is
Central is where the thinking lives. It holds the writings, the guides, the philosophy, and the launch playbooks. If you want to understand why CitySaver exists, how it works, or how to bring it to your city, this is the place to read.
We like to use this picture to explain it all. Each City is a Grape and is staffed by CityServants. A bunch of Grapes may be bundled together because of geography (Missouri) or because of language (English speaking Grapes in East Africa, or French speaking Grapes in West Africa) and would be facilitated by BunchServants. The vine is the infrastructure and connects it all and is staffed by VineServants.
CitySaver Central is the Root. This is where we connect the whole thing to The Source (Jesus), implement the vision and deal with the inevitable storms or droughts or whatever comes – supporting and feeding the Vine, the Bunches and the Grapes.

How it relates to CitySaver.org
CitySaver Central is not the resident action portal on the ground in each city really doing the work. We’re not the Sargeants and Privates on the front lines in the trenches. We’re the fat, gray headed Generals way back behind the lines, using our brains, not our bodies. It is the library and vision hub. CitySaver.org and its city portals are where residents actually find needs, events, businesses, resources, discussions, and city activity. Central explains and directs and trains, but the portals are where the movement happens.
How it relates to city portals
Each CitySaver city gets its own portal — a shared civic layer for that city’s needs, outcomes, businesses, events, and stories. Liberty, Missouri is the first open beta city and home for the Root. Central links to the portals, trains up Servants, documents how they launch, and collects the lessons they teach us.
How it relates to CitySavior
CitySavior is the faith-focused side of the CitySaver ecosystem — helping congregations, believers, and ministry-minded neighbors cooperate in prayer, teaching, service, and shared care for the city. Central hosts CitySavior-related writings, Founder writings, and overview content. It’s about keeping the broader visions open to everyone, but not interfering too much with what each individual Grape is building. We’re not “Headquarters” in any sense of being thought police or demanding agreement. There IS the possibility that if a CityServant had contractually agreed to do certain things – and wasn’t doing them – that we would be forced to find someone else to manage that Grape. But only after lots of remediation and efforts being made.
